Helping Veterans Heal Through Yoga

Please join me in supporting and raising awareness for veterans with PTSD by providing Yoga and other healing services to our veterans.

We are losing 22 veterans every day to suicide. This statistic is alarming, and I've made it a personal mission to try and help in any way I can. 

Most of you know what an important part our military has in my heart; my husband served three tours in Iraq with the Marines, my brother is currently a Marine officer and my Papa was one of the first Army Rangers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Those who serve, give, and fall for our freedom are near and dear to my heart and words can't express how truly grateful I am for their service.

As a yoga teacher, I am teaming up with Warriors for Healing and Give Back Yoga Foundation to help bring yoga to our veterans. Yoga science has proven itself as an effective tool to help veterans returning home to find peace and healing after serving, and is scientifically proven to help manage and reduce PTSD. These two organizations are dedicated to giving back free yoga to those who have given so much.

Proceeds raised by your efforts go directly to support programs produced by Give Back Yoga Foundation and Warriors for Healing.

About the Give Back Yoga Foundation:

Give Back Yoga Foundation’s Mindful Yoga Therapy (MYT) program has developed and delivered an evidence-informed, clinically tested yoga program specifically for veterans with post-traumatic stress.

About Warriors For Healing:

W4H is devoted to bringing Yoga science to veterans suffering as a result of experiencing traumatic events in their lives. Yoga is a time-tested, transformational science that is profoundly relevant for our modern times. Their intention is not only to help people unlock their inherent power to heal, but also to assist them in a journey of self-empowerment and the establishment of new lives. 

Revenues go towards providing free trauma therapy for PTSD in VA Hospitals, Yoga Studios, Community Centers and other venues nationwide.
